Trowbridge Town Council Office

Neighbourhood Plan

Trowbridge Town Council is preparing a Neighbourhood Plan for Trowbridge, giving the local community an opportunity to help shape how the town develops in the future.

A Neighbourhood Plan allows communities to establish planning policies for the use and development of land in their area. Once completed and successfully taken through examination and referendum, the Trowbridge Neighbourhood Plan will form part of the development plan used when determining planning applications in the town.

The plan will focus on a number of areas important to Trowbridge, including local heritage, key views, local green spaces, green and blue infrastructure, and active travel. Community consultation and local knowledge will play an important part in developing these policies.
