Published accounts for Trowbridge Town Council

Each year, the Town Council is obliged to publish a record of its accounts, together with its accompanying documentation. The Annual Return is the official accounts which are audited by our external auditor.

Community Infrastructure Levy

Trowbridge Town Council receives 25% from developments in areas which transferred from North Bradley Civil Parish on 1st April 2021 (incl. Elm Grove/Drynham Lane, White Horse Business Park/Little Common and most of Ashton Park) and 15% for developments in the rest of the town. The Town Council is required to report how the CIL has been spent. Click here for further details.

Exercise of Public Rights to inspect accounts

Each year the public has the right to inspect the accounts of the Town Council for a set period – please click here for more information.

Councillor Allowances and Expenses

Trowbridge Town Councillors do not receive allowances or expenses. The only exception is the Mayor who receives a £250 allowance and incurs expenses.
