Trowbridge Town Council is delighted to welcome back Uniform Services Day for 2026.
Returning to Trowbridge Park on Saturday 12th September, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, the event promises a full day of exhibitions, performances, attractions, and activities for all ages.
Visitors can explore exhibition stalls from a variety of Armed and Uniformed Services, featuring vehicles, equipment, memorabilia, and demonstrations. Returning exhibitors include Wiltshire Police, Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, St John Ambulance, and WAGS Retired Police Dogs.
Armed Forces exhibitions will feature a selection of organisations, including the Ministry of Defence, the Royal British Legion, the Royal Air Forces Association, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, Sea Cadets, and the Trowbridge Army Cadet Force.
The Fire & Rescue zone will include Wiltshire Search and Rescue, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, and UK Mines Rescue, who will be showcasing their popular interactive displays.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a full schedule of performances and displays across the arena and stage. Highlights include Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes & Drums, Frome K9 Dog Displays, wartime dancers, and local musicians Luke and Ash!
After such a positive response from attendees, we’re happy to announce that Rapidshot and our climbing wall will be returning, giving kids and adventure-seeking adults the chance to enjoy an interactive shooting experience or test their skills with a climb.
For those who would prefer to keep their feet on the ground, you can have your caricature drawn for free! Then step back in time as you explore our 1960s AMX-13 tank and meet the crew who’ll be on hand to bring its story to life. Face painting will also be available throughout the event, along with Paw Patrol characters and Bubble Fairies roaming the park. You may even spot a few Roman soldiers…
Food and drink vendors at the event will include Planya, Picnic Canteen Bath, and Everyone’s Brew, offering a variety of tasty treats and refreshments. For anyone with a sweet tooth, Boo’s Bakehouse, T+B’s Delights Churros, 1st Choice Sweets, and Ice Queen will have plenty to tempt you.
Don’t miss this fantastic chance to show your appreciation for our uniform services, past and present, and enjoy a great family day out.
We’ll see you there!
