Trowbridge Town Council Invites The Community To The Annual Remembrance Sunday Service, Sunday 8 November 2026

Trowbridge Town Council warmly invites residents and visitors to join the Annual Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday 8 November 2026, a poignant occasion to honour the service and sacrifice of the armed forces. The event is an opportunity for the community to come together, pay respects, and remember those who have given so much for our country.

The occasion will feature a procession through Trowbridge Town Centre, a service at St James’ Church, and the traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the Trowbridge War Memorial. Residents, community groups, and local organisations are encouraged to line the streets and take part in this important occasion.

Road closures will be in effect from 9:10am until 11:45am. The extended closure ensures that all attendees can safely leave the park following the service. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra travel time.

This Remembrance Sunday, Trowbridge comes together as a community to reflect, remember, and pay tribute. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether lining the parade route, or attending the war memorial for the wreath-laying ceremony.

Trowbridge Town Council thanks the public for their understanding regarding road closures and looks forward to seeing the community gather to honour those who served.
