Tree Works in Trowbridge Park

After our tree survey, it was discovered that some of our trees in the park needed some extra care, and some, unfortunately, needed removing.
This morning, we removed one of the six trees. The decision to remove trees is never taken lightly, but because the trees are dead, we have no choice but to remove them. The tree was checked beforehand for nests. For a link to our full report, click here.
We are currently keeping an eye on three other trees in the park, and the next survey will be carried out in the summer. We are hoping their condition improves; however, we will keep you updated.
Please know that all trees removed from the park will be replaced with mature, native trees in the autumn. The tree removed will be reused in the park for bark, and branches will be broken down for bug hotels.
