Pride in Trowbridge

Trowbridge Town Council is celebrating Pride Month, and in honor of that, we thought it would be a great time to catch up with Trowbridge Pride.

Formed in October 2018, Trowbridge Pride has been at the heart of our community and celebrating diversity for nearly 5 years.

Hosting around 10–14 events a year, the group has helped to create a safe and inclusive space all over town. Their events have included pop-up shops, coffee socials, or their renowned bingo and cabaret performances, which are usually sold out.

They currently have a committee group of eight volunteers, but they are always looking for new people to join who have an interest in LGBTQ+ rights and empowering Trowbridge’s diverse community. As well as supporting the local community each year, they take part in local pride carnivals to show the community that love always wins.

You can find out about their events from their social media profiles, but also in person at their pop-up shops and throughout Trowbridge, with posters placed in most cafes and locations during the year.

They are always on the lookout for new members, and anyone interested can email or drop them a message on their Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages.
