The rich history of our market goes back a long way! Trowbridge received its market charter on the 1st of March 1200 by King John. Since then, the market has offered shoppers an array of products and produce. The Market was transferred from Wiltshire Council to us on the 1st of April 2023.
The core trading hours are 9am until 2:30pm.

Weavers Market
Weavers Market is an independently run market which takes place on the second Saturday of the month. It extends through Fore Street to Emmanuel’s Yard. Please contact the team of volunteers if you are interested in more details.
