Neighbourhood Services

The neighbourhood team deliver ground maintenance across the town and take pride in their roles. They are responsible for ensuring the streets and areas of the town are clean and well-maintained. This is delivered by street cleaning, sweeping, grass cutting, litter and fly-tipping as well as maintenance and planting. You would have seen the team around the town on many occasions especially if you are up early, the vehicles used are: The Sweeper ‘The Doctor’; Two Electric Melex’s ‘Sherlock Ohms and Dr Watts Son2; Tractor ‘Bertha’; Ride on Green machines ‘Yoshi’; The van ‘Van Solo’.
