Community-Funded Defibrillator

Mike & Julie Salmon, Mark & Lin Stevens, and Ray & Carol Tibbert recognised a need for increased safety in their community and decided to take action. By successfully gathering donations from 80 residents of Windsor Drive, Sandringham Road, Holyrood Close, and Balmoral Road, these dedicated individuals were able to raise enough funds to acquire a defibrillator that is now readily available to the public. Positioned at the intersection of footpaths, the device is located on the rear garden wall of 10 Windsor Drive for easy access. The defibrillator was launched yesterday by Councillor Stephen Cooper, the Mayor of Trowbridge, and our Town Crier, Trevor Heeks. The organisers plan to invite residents to participate in training sessions once they are scheduled.
