Ten Years as Council Leader

Ten Years as Council Leader

Due to changes in the political landscape of Trowbridge following the May 2017 local elections, councillor and one-time mayor Bob Brice has relinquished his position as leader of the Town Council, having held this office for 10 years.
To date, Bob has been a Town Councillor for 25 years, marked by his receiving a Civic Certificate of Appreciation in 2016. He oversaw the transition of the Civic Hall from the former West Wiltshire District Council to Trowbridge Town Council and its eventual conversion to Trowbridge Civic Centre which opened in 2011, and successfully campaigned over a long period for the addition of extra sports facilities in and around the town.
Bob is now a Liberal Democrat councillor for Grove Ward in Trowbridge, after having served many years for Studley Green.
