A NEW memory café for people with dementia has opened in Trowbridge. Located at the Palmer Gardens garden centre, dementia patients can now get together in an informal setting, with the opportunity to take part in activities while enjoying refreshments.
Created in partnership between the Adcroft Surgery and Alzheimer's Support, the café will be open on the second Thursday of every month at the Islington garden centre between 2.30 and 4pm.
Currently, only patients from Adcroft Surgery are able to attend, but with its upcoming merger with Widbrook and Bradford Road surgeries which will form the Trowbridge Health Centre, patients from all three practices will be invited.
For more information, contact Adcroft Surgery on 01225 435757.
