Farewell to popular park staff

Farewell to popular park staff

We recently said goodbye to Mickey, our friendly park keeper. Even though he was not employed by the Town Council but by IDVERD, it feels like we have lost a valuable team member. Mickey has worked in Trowbridge park since Trowbridge Town Council took ownership four years ago.
Mickey (far left) said “I have really enjoyed my time working here, especially when Ken joined me. I will miss everyone but am looking forward to working closer to home.”
We also said goodbye to Ken (left) who has volunteered his time for nearly four years to improving the park. Ken said “I have enjoyed working for the community and especially alongside Mickey. I’m retiring for a second time, however – never say never!”
Both Mickey and Ken will be missed not only by everyone at the Town Council, but also by the local community. However, we are excited to welcome Graham (far right), who will be a regular face around the park and we look forward to getting to know him better.
